After the huge success of its VO2013 Atlanta Voiceover Conference, VoiceoverCity, LLC is bringing the largest voice-over conference in the Southeastern United States back to Atlanta, Georgia.
The VO Atlanta 2014 Voiceover Conference will boast exceptional speakers, leaders and presenters in the voice-over industry, drawing attendees from around the country for this four-day event. The conference provides direct access to voice-over professionals, trainers, coaches, agents and service providers.
Since its inception, VoiceoverCity, LLC and its President and Founder, Gerald Griffith has made it their mission to be the leading educational resource for voice-over talent in Georgia, and the southeastern United States.
Voiceover City, LLC was created to be a “community” where both beginner and seasoned talent are offered access to a variety of classes, coaching sessions, and other voice-over related workshops to communicate, learn, and grow in voice-over.
During the 2013 conference, attendees from 27 different states, and Bermuda, came to Atlanta to learn and connect with others during this special event. Attendees of the 2013 conference continue to write and comment about the value of their time at the conference and its impact on their efforts to build successful voice-over careers. Atlanta is experiencing growth in many ways that connect to voice-over and VoiceoverCity is proud to be a part of the development of highly qualified and motivated individuals.
Some of the many features of the 2014 conference include a scholarship award towards attendance at the conference, live panel discussions, and a voice-over contest. To foster networking and community, lunch is included during the event.
According to VoiceoverCity’s founder, Gerald Griffith, “There’s no better industry to be associated with than the voice-over industry. The people are great; they work extremely hard to keep up their skills, management client relationships, learn new technologies, and somehow manage to do it all with a smile.”
Sharing his expertise at VO Atlanta 2014 is keynote Bob Bergen, professional voice actor and coach. Bergen began his career over 26 years ago at age 18 when Casey Kasem helped him get his first big break in the industry. Since then Bob’s voice has been heard in hundreds of commercials, television shows and films. He currently stars as the voice of Porky Pig on the Cartoon Network’s “The Looney Tunes Show.”
Also confirmed to speak at the event is David Goldberg, president and CEO of Edge Studio. Goldberg is known as having “the best ears in the industry” and is one of the most active voice-over producers, instructors and speakers in the industry. He has cast and directed thousands of voice-over productions at his famed New York facility.
