Is there a way to cut the file at the end of the podcast?

I'm asking because I saved a file, which was just seven minutes, but the program included the entire hour. Then, the file was too large to be uploaded onto my Wordpress blog.

is there a way to put an endpoint on the file so I can make it smaller?

Thanks for these very good tips.

I met Connie through a mutual friend, I visited her at home probably in 2004. I had no idea about the ALS.
I wanted to make a CD of stories for my Grandchild who is in Europe. She invited me over , encouraged me, played background music. Made a beautiful label and refused any payment.
She loaned me books, had dinner with me. She was a class act.
Finding this on line made me sad that we lost touch.

I'm with Joan: the Neumanns are terrific microphones. I've been meeting them for twenty years and it's always a happy reunion when I do. Occasionally I run into something else on my travels too, and - just like Joan - I'm invariably disappointed.

In my booth I now have two Neumann microphones - a TLM 103 and a TLM 193. Each has a different character, with the 103 having an extended low end and an upper mid-range "brashness" that makes it well-suited to short-form commercial and promo work. The 193 is "darker" and more balanced, and is a nice choice for documentary and long-form narration (and an Avalon 737 preamp warms them both up just a fraction in a way that's very welcome too!)

I do maintain that it's largely about finding a mic that works for your voice though, so don't let anyone else make your mind up for you.
